Terms & Conditions
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Article 1. Definitions
In these general terms and conditions, the following terms have the following meanings:
Client: The natural person or legal entity entering into an agreement with Solenne Impact Publishing. For online purchases, the terms “Buyer” or “Customer” may also be used, which also fall under Client.
Services: The services offered by Solenne Impact Publishing, such as the sale and delivery of physical and digital books, merchandise, access to online training (including self-study modules, live online sessions, workshops, and learning materials), sale of online downloadable materials (such as templates, checklists, audio files), participation in events (both physical and online), speaking engagements, and consulting services (including advisory meetings, strategy sessions, and other forms of personal or business consulting), and other related products and consulting.
Participant/Customer: The natural person or legal entity who actually purchases the books or merchandise, participates in online training or events, downloads materials, or uses speaking or consulting services.
Agreement: The agreement between Solenne Impact Publishing and the Client regarding the delivery of books, merchandise, online training, online downloadable materials, events, speaking engagements, consulting services, or other services.
Article 2. Applicability
These terms apply to all quotes, offers, orders, and agreements whereby Solenne Impact Publishing offers or delivers services or products. Deviations are only binding if agreed upon in writing. By placing an order or using a service, the Client acknowledges having read and accepted these terms.
Article 3. Formation of the Agreement
An agreement is established when a quote or order confirmation issued by Solenne Impact Publishing is accepted by the Client, or when the Client places an order via the website and it is confirmed by Solenne Impact Publishing.
Quotes are non-binding unless stated otherwise and are valid for 30 days.
In case of changes to the order, Solenne Impact Publishing may issue an additional quote or confirmation.
Article 4. Execution of the Agreement
Solenne Impact Publishing will execute the agreement to the best of its ability and knowledge and has a best-efforts obligation. Digital products (e.g., e-books, downloadable materials, access to online training) are generally delivered immediately after payment. Physical books and merchandise are delivered via a designated shipping partner. Speaking engagements and consulting services are provided on the agreed date and location or via digital channels.
Solenne Impact Publishing may subcontract tasks (e.g., shipping, technical support for online training/live sessions, preparation for talks or consulting) without affecting quality or responsibility.
The Client is responsible for providing all necessary information on time (such as correct address, email for digital access, relevant background info for consulting or speaking). If not provided correctly or timely, Solenne Impact Publishing may suspend execution and charge additional fees.
Article 5. Changes, Cancellation, and Returns
Changes to the agreement are only valid if confirmed in writing by both parties.
Cancellation of online training (including live sessions), events, speaking engagements, and consulting services:
-
Free cancellation up to 4 weeks before the event or service start date.
-
50% fee charged for cancellations between 4 and 2 weeks in advance.
-
100% fee charged for cancellations within 2 weeks.
Specific cancellation terms for individual training/events may apply and will be specified during registration.
In some cases, participant substitution is allowed but must be agreed upon in writing. Consulting and speaking engagements generally do not allow for substitution.
Returns of physical products (books and merchandise):
-
A 14-day statutory return period applies, provided the product is undamaged, unused, and in original condition. Return shipping is at the Client’s expense.
-
Contact for returns: info@eviesolenne.com.
Digital products (e-books, downloadable materials, access to training/events):
-
These cannot be returned or canceled once delivered, if the Client has explicitly agreed to immediate delivery and waived the right of withdrawal. This will be clearly stated at purchase.
Solenne Impact Publishing reserves the right to suspend or cancel agreements due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., low event registrations, technical issues, speaker/consultant unavailability). Paid amounts will be refunded. For canceled live sessions or services, efforts will be made to offer rescheduling or suitable alternatives.
Article 6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality about all information shared in connection with the agreement.
This obligation also applies to third parties engaged by Solenne Impact Publishing.
Article 7. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights related to materials provided or sold by Solenne Impact Publishing—including physical and digital books, merchandise designs, templates, checklists, audio files, course materials, videos, session recordings, presentations, concepts, exercises, and consulting or speaking content—remain the property of Solenne Impact Publishing or its licensors.
Materials are intended for the personal use of the Client or Participant unless stated otherwise.
Printing course materials for personal use is allowed once.
Without written permission, it is prohibited to reproduce, edit, distribute, or share materials with third parties for commercial use.
If materials (even excerpts) are shared online (e.g., on social media or blogs), the original source (Solenne Impact Publishing or www.eviesolenne.com) must be clearly credited. Misuse may lead to legal action.
Article 8. Payment
Online purchases (books, merchandise, training, downloadable materials, events): Payment is generally required immediately via the website’s payment methods. Delivery or access is granted after full payment.
Speaking and consulting services: These have separate terms. Invoices must be paid within 14 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If payment is late, the Client is in default without notice and owes 1% monthly interest on the outstanding amount, plus any collection fees.
Article 9. Liability
Liability is limited to the amount of the relevant agreement, up to the invoice amount of the last paid service or product. Solenne Impact Publishing is not liable for indirect damages (e.g., lost profits, reputation damage, business interruption).
No liability for damage due to incorrect or incomplete information from the Client.
Not liable for disruptions caused by third-party systems (e.g., internet providers, payment platforms, online training platforms).
All content and advice are general in nature and not individual advice unless explicitly agreed upon. No guarantees are made regarding the results achieved by the Client.
Article 10. Force Majeure
In case of force majeure, Solenne Impact Publishing may suspend or cancel the agreement without owing damages.
Force majeure includes circumstances beyond reasonable control that make performance impossible, such as illness of speakers/trainers, fire, uncontrollable technical failures (e.g., internet outages), government measures, pandemics, or events seriously disrupting normal business operations.
Article 11. Complaints and Disputes
Complaints must be reported in writing within 14 days of discovery, or within 14 days of delivery of the product or service.
All agreements are governed by Dutch law.
Disputes will first be submitted to the competent court in the district where Solenne Impact Publishing is based, unless mandatory law states otherwise.
